An Incidental Finding of a Double-Lumen Trachea

The aim of this case report is to present an incidental finding a firm tracheal septum in 61-year-old woman. patient was admitted the hospital with mild dyspnea and preliminary diagnosis subglottic stenosis. During microlaryngoscopy, just below stenosis, firm, vertical symphysis (septum), forming double-lumen trachea found. There no record any previous difficulties intubation. A computed tomography scan performed after microlaryngoscopy revealed airway branch arising from at level thyroid gland joining its lumen below. radiological endoscopic findings presented hardly resemble conditions described literature, as discovered does not have pseudomembranous nature, nor it form bronchus. Therefore, thought be unusual complication multiple intubations past. This extremely rare important share our experience managing aforementioned post-intubation complications.
